EGCERT2019CTF

 EGCERT2019CTF

This is the write-ups for my solves in the EGCERT2019CTF

1- My first Solve was named: Rotten Code:

As declared from the beginning that the flag format would be EGCTF{flag}, so its clear that this "CEARD" at the beginning should be "EGCTF" which means that each letter has been shifted by -2
using CAESAR CIPHER with https://www.dcode.fr/caesar-cipher setting the shift value to 24 (the mod inverse for -2 for 26"characters").
leads to the flag is: EGCTF{Rot14_lo0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0op}

2- My second Solve was named: S3cret_m3$$age:

This challenge was to decode the message in this photo:

after a while, I referred it to a transformed alphabetic. And here it is the keymap

so after translating the message, I found out it is: this is a message from ramesses ii the flag is: pigpen_assassins_creed_is_funny

so the challenge flag would be: EGCTF{pigpen_assassins_creed_is_funny}

2- My third Solve was named: Warm up :):

This challenge was to decode the message in this photo:
the first thought was it's a number mirrored, started to write down the numbers separately, and it was:
334222833307777666633844463377770999666880366606666680663333308666028886666283303388833777999844444664.
putting in mind the flag format is EGCTF{some_ascii_words}, so let's consider the 0's as a separator between the ASCII words the 1st set of numbers would be "3342228333" which supposed to represent the flag prefix "EGCTF". standing on this assumption 33=E, 4=G, 222=C, 8=T, 333=F.
surprisedly it just looks like the mobile dialer keypad letters representation:

so the flag would be: EGCTF{sometimes_you_do_not_need_to_automate_everything}

that was all my solves other challenges been solved by my team colleges, or other players may be referred to as write-ups links latter.
